Dave Tighe announces his retirement

Thirteen years after starting Transport Planning Associates (previously Pinnacle Transportation) with Rupert Lyons, Dave Tighe has announced that he is to retire as a Director next March.

When we started Transport Planning Associates, our aim was to provide the best possible service for our clients and I believe that this guiding ethos is what has helped us grow to become one of the most effective transport consultancies in the UK.

There has been no better job than working with our staff and helping them to develop into the group of talented professionals we now employ, whilst at the same time turning sites that could not be
developed into sites that can.  Both the Bristol and Cardiff offices have been the source of much pleasure over the years.

We have strengthened the board of directors and the senior management team over the years, and I am confident that they will continue to drive the business forwards whilst maintaining the high level of client satisfaction that has been consistently achieved over the years.”

Craig Rawlinson and David Knight will take over the day to day management of the Bristol office, and Craig will also help to manage the Cardiff Office.  Dave will continue to act as a consultant
following his retirement.

Craig joined TPA in 1999 and was appointed a Director in 2008.  He has worked closely with Dave over the past decade of his fifteen years of experience.  David Knight is a well respected transport consultant
with over twenty years consultancy experience.  He joined TPA as a Director in 2009.
